O’Reilly’s 'Discovery Weeks' are dotted throughout
the seasons, giving guests the chance to search for mammals
in January, learn to paint wildlife in watercolour from
the Artist in Residence each May, or join in the signature
event, Bird Week, each November - with a host of other events
and special weeks in between.
Those who aren’t so interested in birds might
prefer to spot mammals or go in search of frogs –
and we have special weeks to cater for their interests –
while experienced bushwalkers are always keen to take on
the challenges of our ‘Off the Beaten Track’
program during August.”
Whatever the season, O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat
serves up nature with a family hospitality, honed over 80
years in the business.
O’Reilly’s Discovery Weeks and seasonal activities
are complemented by a daily Discovery Program, offering
bushwalks, 4WD adventures, visits to spectacular lookouts,
the famous Tree-Top Walk and the equally famous Flying Fox,
noctural adventures to spot wildlife, not to mention the
'Scrub Club' just for kids.

The Sunshine Coast - Noosa
DISCOVER NOOSA: The Pride of The Sunshine Coast
Noosa is a region approximately 133 miles or a 1.5 hour drive north of Brisbane, Queensland. Famous for integrating the natural and built environments to provide visitors with the sense that they have arrived in paradise. Although this is not to say that modern amenities and top restaurants that the discerning traveler of today expects are absent from the equation!
Sundrenched beaches, powder white sand, pristine waters and a water temperature that invites year round swimming is Noosa's real drawcard. And when its combined with stunning, stylish architecture against a lush, green hinterland you know you have found the perfect setting for your vacation escape.
Noosa is at the northern end of Queensland’s sub-tropical Sunshine Coast and combines international sophistication with the laid back carefree ways of a small seaside town - population is only about 35,000. Hastings Street is the heart of the town and is Queensland's best-known avenue with its tempting boutiques, restaurants, pavement bistros and beachfront north facing apartments. The perfect place to stay before you set out to explore all that is on offer in the Sunshine Coast!
A great way to expand your Sunshine Coast experience is to combine a short stay at the world's largest sand island Fraser Island!
