Reservations
Agreement
Deposit / Acceptance
A $300.00
per person non-refundable deposit is required to
initiate a reservation. This deposit forms part
of your final payment. Receipt of your deposit constitutes
customers acceptance of our terms and conditions listed
in this agreement. Should you cancel your arrangements,
the deposit will be retained to offset our consultation
time & communications charges.
Final Payment
- Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Some
products/suppliers may require earlier payment and you
will be advised of this. Our final invoice will
reflect any currency fluctuations. Prices are
not locked in until full payment has been made.
- Airline reservations must be paid in full by the due
date and ticketed to guarantee airfares. Payment
for airfares can be made by most credit cards and a
ticket fee will appear as a separate charge.
- Payment for the land arrangements must be by Cash/Check/Money
Order or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
- Important notice:
All prices quoted reflect a 3% discount for purchases
made with cash/check. There are no discounts given for
purchases made by credit card.
Late Bookings
We are pleased
to make your bookings at any time. However, reservation
requests made within 14 days of departure are subject
to a $100.00 per booking charge, in addition to the courier
overnight delivery fees, in order to expedite processing
of your booking and ensure prompt receipt of your tour
documents. Reservation arrangements for less
than 7 nights require a booking fee of $100 per
person.
Consultation
If you require
individual consultations
(answers to questions, logistics, assistance with itinerary
planning, in-depth dining, or any other advice & information)
and prefer to book, or have already
booked, your own arrangements, time will be billed
at the rate of $75 per hour with a 2 hour minimum, payable
in advance.
Amendment / Revisons
After initial
itinerary proposal and quote, no amendments will be
made until deposit is received.
After confirmation
of your itinerary, should any changes to the program
be required, each change will be billed at minimum of
$35.00 per change to cover alteration & communication
costs. Many of the suppliers we use have amendment
fees and these apply on top of Pacific Destination Center
fees.
Amendments made after documents have been issued will incur a $150.00 fee to cover courier costs, communication
costs and additional time to co-ordinate the changes.
Once travel commences, should you decrease the
number of nights originally booked at any hotel, for any
reason, no refund will be made and an administration fee
will be charged to cover alteration/communications costs.
It is advisable to check with us before any amendments
or changes are made.
Cancellation
Fees
If you must cancel, please note that deposits and modification fees are not refundable.
- Within 55 days of departure
full deposit plus supplier charges that may be levied.
- 54-35 days prior to departure
35% of full payment
- 34-21 days prior to departure
50% of full payment
- 20-8 days prior to departure
65% of full payment
- 7 day or less 100% of full booking value.
- The applicable Airlines airfares rules and cancellation
fees apply if purchased. These will be assessed at the
time of cancellation.
- In addition, any cancellation charges by hotels, resorts,
islands, tour companies invloved with your vacation may
also be levied.
- Special cancellation conditions apply to all Cruises,
Island Resorts, Charter Aircraft, Rail and Guided Walks,
and special event periods such as New Years Eve and Christmas.

- It is advisable to check with us before any cancellations
are made. Cancellations must be received in Writing.
- Setting up your tour is a complicated procedure, as
is canceling the arrangements if you decide not to travel.
Passengers are strongly advised to purchase
comprehensive travel insurance.

Preparation
Each individual tour price includes charges for research, itinerary preparation and planning, currency transfer and booking procedures and the service of the local tour operators representing Pacifc Destination Center throughout the Pacific. In each case the quoted cost represents a complete package price and an itemization of individual component costs will not be rendered under any circumstances.
Refunds
No refund will
be available once travel has commenced in respect of tours,
accommodation, meals or any other services not utilized
or voluntarily unavailed. In all cases, will be
subject to any cancellation charges imposed by the local
ground operators and our administration fee of $35.00
per person.
Prices
The prices quoted
are based on upon current tariffs and exchange rates for
the respective foreigh currency and are subject to adjustment
without prior notification in the event of changes therein.
Exchange rates fluctuate. Customers
exchange rate is only fixed when full payment is made.
Increases due to adjustment of airfares,
or international currency fluctuations, new or increased
taxes will be passed on to the passenger in all cases,
provided said increases are advised to the passenger prior
to the commencement of the tour. Once full
payment has been received, quoted prices are guaranteed.
We recommend you make full payment at your
earliest convenience to protect against any increases
in costs.
Not
Included in the Price: Items of a personal nature
such as telephone calls, beverages, meals not specified,
laundry, tips, baggage handling, passport or visa fees,
airport departure taxes, fuel surcharges levied by suppliers,
excess baggage charges, optional sightseeing, or any other
service unless specifically indicated as included.
Passports/Visas:
A passport valid for six months beyond date of travel
is required for entry into all South Pacific countries.
U.S. Citizens visiting Australia must have an entry visa
or Electronic Travel Authority. For Papua
New Guinea visas are issued on arrival. Other nationalities
must check with respective consulates. It is solely
the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all
documents needed are complete and current.
Airfares
and Tickets: Most airfares used are based on Advance
Purchase Excursion Fares and are subject to applicable
cancellation penalties, and the rules and regulations
filed by each airline. Any deviation from the set
itinerary may affect the airfare. Any change in airline
dates, routing or stops after the air ticket is written
requiring ticket reissuance will be assessed a minimum
$150 change fee plus any
change and cancellation fees charged by the airlines.
IATAN or ATC airline carriers are not to be held responsible
for any act or omission or event during the time the passengers
are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passage
contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued,
shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines
and the tour passenger. Any or all transportation companies
mentioned shall have or incur no responsibility for liability
to any traveler aside from their liability as common carriers.
Responsibilities: Pacific Destination Center, their agents and/or suppliers
of service pursuant to in connection with these tours
arrangements act only as an agent of the suppliers in
making arrangements for any and all services and does
not assume any liability whatsoever for injury, damage,
death, loss accident or delay to person or property due
to any act of default of any hotels, carrier, restaurants,
company or person rendering any of the services included
in the tours, or by force majeure. We cannot assume any
responsibility for flight delays, cancellations or missed
connections and are not liable for any expenses or consequences
resulting therefrom. Such expenses shall be borne by the
client. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for
any cancellations, delays, price increases or other alterations
to your tour caused by circumstances beyond our immediate
control including but not limited to sickness, injury,
quarantine, disease, weather conditions, natural disasters,
war or threat of war, riots, terrorist activity, strikes,
airport closure, delays or changes in air or other services,
pilferage, monetary crisis or any other reasons beyond
our control. The passage contract in use by the airlines
concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract
between the airlines and the tour passenger. Pacific Destination
Center shall accept no responsibility for damage or loss
of passenger's luggage or personal effects. We reserve
the right to change itineraries or hotels from those listed
at any time or for any reason. We reserve the right to
withdraw any tour should such conditions warrant it. In
such instances Pacific Destination Center will immediately
notify passengers and offer an alternative of comparable
standard or refund full amount paid us.
