You will be met on arrival, welcomed with flower lei and transferred the 20 scenic mile drive to the Capital and commercial center of Apia. Apia

Days at leisure for independent excursions. On 2ND day pick up your Suzuki Sidekick rental vehicle in Apia town. Note: International and all valid overseas licenses are accepted but a Samoan temporary Drivers License is compulsory and need to be arranged directly at the Police Station at a cost of WST $25 (approx USD$10)

Take a scenic drive around the island, which will provide you with much beauty and charm to appreciate and remember. The road takes you along the coastline, through plantation lands and over mountain country. You’ll have a chance to see the Samoan people in their natural environment and visit points of cultural and historical interest. A highlight is a visit to Robert Louis Stevenson’s former home, now a museum

Upolu’s South Coast

It’s a 35-minute drive across the Island to Samoa’s beachside resorts on the south coast. Coconuts sits on the beach at Maninoa village.

Stay: Coconut’s Beach Club – 3 nights

You are at leisure to relax and enjoy the hospitality at Coconuts You get great food in the restaurant; there is a beautiful swimming pool in the shape of a gecko with a swim-up cocktail bar; and Coconut’s Water sports offer dive trips, mangrove boat tours and snorkeling. Entertainment Fiafia night on Saturdays, with the locals performing.

Activities: Village, Cultural and Botanical Tours, Hiking and individually designed excursions and Eco Tours.

Checkout at 11am. Today you could take a relaxing drive around the island. Late evening return the vehicle to the airport prior to check-in to your flight.

Depart on Air New Zealand's evening flight and wake up in Paradise.

Leave:  Los Angeles 11.15pm

Arrive:  Apia 05.40am

Meet and greet at the airport by our representative and transfer to hotel on the south coast of the island of Upolu.   
Balance of the day is at leisure

Stay: Coconuts Beach Club - Treehouse Junior Suite - 3 nights
Located on the beach at Maninoa (half an hour's drive from Apia) near Siumu village.

Facilities: There is a restaurant serving a wide range of food with as much local content as possible.     Entertainment Fiafia night on Saturdays, with the locals performing.

Activities: Coconut Water sports center is on- site, where you can choose from diving, fishing charter or a boat cruise and windsurfing.

On day 2 at 8.30am pick up your 4 Door Jeep rental car for a 6 Day rental includes unlimited miles and vehicle insurance.

Upolu to Savaii

Drive along the south coast to Mulifanua Wharf. You will take the vehicle on the ferry. The ferry takes 1 hour and 10 minutes. (operates Mon-Sat - 8am, 12noon, 4pm)   From the Saleiologa Wharf proceed to your accommodation.

Stay: Le Lagoto Beach Resort - Beachfront Bungalow - 3 nights.  Includes tropical breakfast daily.

Le Lagoto is located at Fagamalo Village an easy 45 minute drive from the main center and port of Salelologa. Small resort offering Samoan hospitality and friendship. The beachfront accommodations are self-contained Samoan fales/bungalows each with their own kitchenette, TV, phone, a/con, private deck.   Hotel Facilities include licensed bar and the Vailili Restaurant. Activities include swimming at the white sand beach, snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing and complimentary canoeing.

Check-out by 11am and drive back to the ferry where you cross with your vehicle.
Savaii  to Upolu - Passenger Ferry (operates: Mon-Sat - 6am, 10am, 2pm)
From Mulifanua Wharf you can explore further - then late afternoon drive to Faleolo Airport where you will drop off your rental vehicle and check-in to your flight.
