Some refer to Dubai as the ‘City of Gold’, in the United Arab Emirates it is known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture, international gourmet dining and a lively nightlife scene.
Everything in Dubai is a Superlative, a cosmopolitan oasis, a futuristic cityscape that towers over the Arabian Desert. This is a city of superlatives, home to the world’s largest dancing fountain; tallest building (Burj Khalifa); only 7-star hotel (the Burj al-Arab); largest man-made islands (the Palm Islands); and largest natural flower garden (the Miracle Garden.)
Dubai is known for the sunny skies and warm waters year-round, which makes it a very inviting destination. Summer season late April to earl September is when you will feel the heat and humidity, however, you can easily beat the heat in the massive air-conditioned indoor malls with a ski slope and public places.
If you plan to visit the surrounding desert area, best to avoid the midsummer heat and come during the winter season.
August is the hottest month in Dubai with an average temperature of 36°C (96°F), and the coldest month is January at 19°C (66°F) and the most daily sunshine is found in June with 12! The wettest month is February with an average of 40mm of rain.
Why not come and experience all that it has to offer for a quick Stopover or for a destination vacation!
