If you happen to be in Oamaru on a Sunday morning you really must visit the Oamaru Farmers Market, showcasing delectable food from around the region. Choose to lunch at Fleur’s Place in nearby Moeraki – this fish shack, built on the edge of the ocean, was chosen by British chef and food writer Rick Stein as the place he most wanted to visit.
