Upon arrival at Venice airport you will be welcomed to Italy and transferred to your hotel where you will be assisted with check-in procedures. On arrival, speed across the lagoon to your hotel.

This morning you will be assisted on to a private motor launch and transferred from your hotel to Piazzale Roma, where you will meet your English-speaking driver and depart Venice by private vehicle for Florence. Stop en route in the beautiful city of Verona where you will meet your local English-speaking guide for a 2½ hour walking tour. Your tour will include Juliet’s House and the Arena, the 3rd largest Roman amphitheater built in 30 AD, home to gladiator battles and today, theater and opera performances. After lunch at leisure (up to 1 hour), rejoin your driver and vehicle and continue to Florence.

Your afternoon begins at a family run Umbrian vineyard, where in its heart a luxury picnic has been laid out for you in the serenity of the Italian countryside, with the medieval city of Assisi as your backdrop. Take your time, as long as you want, your personal waiter will continue to serve estate wines as long as you may wish to linger.

After a leisurely breakfast your driver will transfer you to your hotel in Rome, where you will enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

In the evening your driver will bring you to the outskirts of Rome for a truly romantic and memorable meal.
