G’day – Welcome to Sydney’, one of the most vibrant and panoramic cities in the world.

On arrival Sydney you will be transferred by Private Sedan either from the Sydney International Airport or Sydney Cruise Port Terminal to your hotel* to begin your discovery of Sydney!  *Your hotel room can be pre-registered for immediate occupancy.

Mid-Morning Private Essential Sydney Tour with Lunch.
Your private Guide will take you through the historic Rocks precinct the birth place of Sydney to explore the convict built cottages, pubs and the first church in Australia. Next, the stunning Botanical Gardens situated right in the heart of Sydney. En route we pass through Macquarie Street where you see Australia’s first Parliament House, Mint, Hyde Park Barracks and St Mary’s Cathedral. Continue onto Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair situated on the water’s edge to enjoy a walking tour of the harbor’s edge with magnificent views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Then continue through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross and into Rushcutters Bay where we stop to enjoy a lunch at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Australia’s premier yacht club and home to what is considered yachting’s ‘Everest’ – the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.  Then continue through Darling Point, one of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs and see some of Sydney’s most sought-after addresses. Pass by Double Bay, Rose Bay, Vaucluse and Watsons Bay along the coastline to Sydney’s most famous beach, Bondi Beach where you have some time to soak up the atmosphere of this beach-side Mecca.   Stroll down the esplanade with the locals and maybe enjoy an ice cream before we make our way back to Sydney via the vibrant Oxford Street and the suburb of Paddington; admire this boutique shopping precinct and the charming Georgian and Victorian architecture of the homes.  Return to your hotel where your evening is at leisure.

Evening: You may wish to enjoy the views of the daily sails lighting at sunset and 7.00pm.

Badu Gili – meaning ‘water light’ in the language of the traditional owners of Bennelong Point, the Gadigal people – is a daily experience that explores ancient First Nations stories in a spectacular seven-minute projection, illuminating the Opera House’s eastern Bennelong sail year-round at sunset and 7pm. Badu Gili is a free experience best viewed from the Podium at the top of the Monumental Steps.

Suggestions for your day at leisure:

Wander down to The Rocks Markets and you’ll find passionate people selling things you’ll love in a cool, relaxed environment.   The Rocks Markets at Playfair Street, George Street, Jack Mundey Place open 10am – 5pm, Saturdays & Sundays.

There is an abundance of activities to take in – soak up Sydney’s gorgeous harbor, seductive outdoor lifestyle and great natural beauty. Kayak under the Sydney Harbour Bridge or wave at the Opera House as you ride a ferry across the harbor to Manly’s waterfront. Stroll through Hyde Park or select from the range of international cuisine at the MLC Centre or Pitt Street Mall. Visit the Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife Park or Sydney Tower with its famous 360′ viewing platform. Learn to surf at Bondi Beach or swim in the calm waters of Coogee. Lose yourself in the boutiques, cafes and pubs of Paddington. As well as a world-famous harbor and more than 70 sparkling beaches, Sydney offers fabulous food, festivals and fun.

You can take a Taxi to the Northern Beaches and have lunch at the fabulous Iceberg Restaurant in Bondi Beach. Even if you don’t go for a meal you can go for a relaxing drink, this is one place that is well worth a short bus ride to enjoy an evening sunset over a cocktail, perhaps a Bellini – Dreamy views like no other that’s why the locals just adore being perched like seagulls over Bondi Icebergs’ swimming pool and Australia’s most famous surfing beach!

Your afternoon self- exploration may also include a visit to –
Oxford Street the major thoroughfare in Sydney that bustles with fashion boutiques, nightclubs and lively bars.  Running from Whitlam Square on the south-east corner of Hyde Park in the central business district of Sydney to Bondi Junction in the Eastern Suburbs.

Queen Victoria Building rich in history and architecturally splendid, the (QVB) occupies an entire block on Sydney’s George Street, and has over 180 of Sydney’s finest fashion boutiques, jewelry shops and home wares, accompanied by delightful cafes and restaurants.

The Strand Arcade a Victorian-style shopping arcade located in the heart of the Sydney central business district, between Pitt Street Mall and George Street. Named after London’s smartest shopping street in the mid nineteenth century, the Strand Arcade houses many of Australia’s best designer labels, jewelers, places to eat, coffee shops, unique gift shops and beauty salons.

This morning you will be picked up in your hotel lobby by your Guide to commence your Private Hunter Valley Wine Tour.

Full Day Private Tour of Hunter Valley with Lunch, Entries and Guide.
The Hunter Valley wine region north of Sydney offers a wide range of World Class food and wine. Today we will showcase some of the best available with a progressive food and wine trail.  Enjoy some morning tea before entering the Hunter Valley via the Brokenback Range. First stop is at Cocoa Nib, a boutique Chocolate Shop situated within Keith Tulloch Wine estate. This beautiful artisan chocolate shop serves some truly mind-blowing treats. Taste some of the locally handcrafted and totally unique chocolates.  Next stop along this magnificent food and wine trail is a cheese and wine tasting.   Hand picked 9 of the best local, Australian & International cheeses for you and paired them with beautiful local wines. This educational and enjoyable tasting experience will guide you through the process of finding your ‘match made in heaven’.  Lunch today is at Bistro Molines, set among the peaceful surrounds of Tallavera Grove, overlooking a valley of terraced vineyards and grazing cattle. After lunch head towards Sabor Desert Bar. The range on offer here is extensive with over 50 deserts to choose from. From cheese cakes, to classic chocolate cakes, tiramisu, over 24 flavors of Macaroons, Portuguese tarts and their multi award winning Sabor Chocolate Mousse. Next off to Audrey Wilkinson, one of the oldest wineries in the Hunter Valley and well known for their Semillons and Shiraz where you enter their VIP room for a private tasting of some of their best wines. You will love their great range and as well as the stunning views from their winery.   Return to your hotel where your evening is at leisure.

This evening before heading out to dinner, you may wish to enjoy the sunset from your hotel’s famous Blu Bar.  Besides the climb up the Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of the best spot s to catch the evening sunset may be on the 36th floor of the Shangri-La Hotel at the Blu Bar, they don’t call it a million-dollar view for nothing, there’s a $10,000 martini!

Another place to enjoy dinner and spectacular Sydney views is the 360 Bar and Dining.   All window seats are equal at this revolving restaurant atop the Sydney Tower. 360 doesn’t serve mediocre tourist grub, though: The menu is an accomplished introduction to contemporary Australian cooking and ingredients.

Today you will embark on a very special tour flying over the Icons of Sydney to enjoy an exquisite culinary lunch experience.

Mid-Morning Departure: Fly/Dine – Seaplane Flight to Cottage Point Inn Including Lunch
A mere 20 minutes flying time from the hustle and bustle of Sydney is the exquisitely tranquil and award-winning Cottage Point Inn. This beautiful restaurant is perched on the water’s edge in the heart of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and is renowned for offering exceptional modern Australian cuisine.

Upon landing we taxi the aircraft to the restaurant’s seaplane dock, where Cottage Point Inn’s friendly staff offer a warm welcome and any number of great Australian wines! After a leisurely 3 courses, a la carte lunch re-board your seaplane and return to Sydney Harbour. To top off a magical afternoon we offer you an incredible photo opportunity flying a circuit of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, before landing at Rose Bay. Today you will be transferred by Private Sedan either to the Sydney International Airport for your onward flight, or the Sydney Cruise Port Terminal to embark on your cruise journey.
